Affordable housing plan postponed in Holland
Holland Planning Commission postponed approval of a four-story 72-unit affordable housing project at 159 S. River Ave after public comments. Wisconsin developer General Capital Group, represented by Sig Strautmanis, remains optimistic that technical concerns can be addressed. Residents raised density, parking, snow removal, traffic, greenspace, and a Sixth Street riverfront blind corner as issues for the project.
