Ex-dean Strampel to serve up to one year in jail
Former Michigan State University dean William Strampel, who oversaw Larry Nassar, was found guilty of neglect of duty and misconduct in office and given up to a year behind bars. He avoided the more serious sexual conduct charge as he faced up to five years for the misconduct conviction.
