Hopi Oil Derrick Timber Arriving for Camp Rig
Timbers for Hopi Oil Company’s derrick are arriving at the camp in good quantities and about half of the 24000 feet are expected to be on the ground this week. Rig builders have materials on hand and work to resume. Water dam nearly finished and engine for the pump in place. The pump shipment is late, possibly delaying spudding by a few days. Camp quarters are being improved while awaiting full lumber for the derrick.
