East Side Grid Conference Formed Near Roswell
T C Bird of Hobbs High School was elected secretary treasurer of the East Side Football Conference formed at a Roswell meeting on December 14. The six teams are Hobbs Roswell Carlsbad Portales Artesia and Lovington. Each team must play at least four conference games to be eligible for the championship trophy. A tiebreaker post season game will decide the winner. Hobbs 136 schedule includes Carlsbad Roswell Lovington and Wink Texas.
