New Whistling Buoy Replaces Hoarse Entrance Marker
Capt A P Niblack ordered the old Hilo harbor buoy removed and a new whistler installed after complaints. The Lehua, seen in the harbor, was sent to Hilo to perform the task under Captain McAllister.
