Hillside High Welcomes New and Returning Teachers

Hillside High introduces three new teachers and two veterans. Miss Jane Krumacher becomes guidance director while pursuing a doctorate at NYU. Evelyn Marine teaches Spanish and earned Montclair State training. Henry Richards returns to teach English and geography after Rider College. Sidon returns as adviser and counselor and will teach chemistry and physics next year. Frank Edwards resumes debate leadership after Navy duty. Extra curricular clubs begin. new yearbook staff named. stage crew expands. marching band to debut with routines and songs at the first football game.

Hillside approves sanitary siphon project under Elizabeth River

Township of Hillside introduces an ordinance on September 1 1952 authorizing a sanitary siphon under the Elizabeth River and joint trunk sewer construction by the New Jersey State Highways Authority to replace the present sub trunk on the east side. Hillside Township Sewage Improvement Authorization
