Two Teens Injured In North Broad Street Car Crash
Two Newark youths were injured Friday evening on North Broad street when the car they rode lost control and struck a utility pole in front of the Kresge Newark warehouse. Driver Anthony Empostmate, 17, suffered facial cuts while passenger John Teffenhard, 16, endured severe head injuries. Both were taken to St Elizabeth Hospital. Dr Joseph Peyser provided on scene and ordered transport.

Free Eye Screening Urged by Health Board
