Five Points YMCA opens registration for youth and adults with limited spots for fall programs. Union Tech offers GED English and Math review courses starting September 30 to help residents over 13 pass state GED tests, with enrollment on September 15 and 16.

Rutgers Researcher Links Alcohol Nicotine To Performance
Rutgers scientist Dr Henry Murphree tested 16 volunteers mixing vodka and orange juice to reach 0.07 percent blood alcohol and had them smoke varying nicotine cigarettes. The study measured geometric symbol tasks and found performance remained affected after a rest period, with a marked decline when changing from low to high nicotine cigarettes.
