Conford challenges G O P critics on building program taxes

Public Bus Trial Aimed at High School Students

Public Service Coordinated Transport to run a trial bus for high school students starting next Monday morning. Dr Wayne Branem, superintendent of schools, announced. Bus departs Leslie Street and Winans Avenue at 8:15 am and serves Liberty Avenue Billside Avenue North Broad Street Coe Avenue Salemvenue Canant Street to the high school. Regular 10 cent fare charged. Route will reverse after school dismissal.

Lionel Fair Trade Appeal Upheld by Appellate Court

The Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court upheld a ruling prohibiting Salein New York City from selling Lionel Corporation toy train items at below fair trade prices. The May 20 decision by Judge Felix Benvenga was appealed challenging fair trade laws under the McGuire Act, marking the first appellate ruling of its kind in New York State.
