Move Begun To Liberalize College Entrance Courses

Forty seven school systems in the New York metropolitan area show interest in revising college entrance requirements. Dr. Paul R. Mort of Teachers College Columbia University reports the study stems from the Metropolitan School Study Council. The survey, drawn from 70 high schools, notes half of council area high school students take college preparatory courses and most proceed to college.
