Colonel Lowell L. Hodge of Union County is named president of the American Cancer Society Hillside chapter to lead the 1965 fund raising drive. Mrs. Robert J. Kaplan will assist as campaign co chair as efforts aim to exceed 1964 solicitations. Gural, a Hillside resident and township committee member, is a Rutgers Law School graduate with long service on health boards. Kaplan, a Hillside resident for eight years, led drives in 1952 and 1953, with nursing and education roles and four children. The drive will feature an extensive education program to inform Hillside residents about cancer services and the society’s work.
