Apartment House Variance Denied by Zoning Board

Crel Realty Co of Jersey City had a variance request to build a 55 unit apartment at 1415 Maple Ave near Hillside Ave School. The Zoning Board of Adjustment denied the request citing Bi Local Business zoning and lack of alternative permissible use. Hillside Ave School PTA president was among objectors.

PTA Card Party at George Washington School

George Washington School PTA hosted a card party in the Raphael Room with hospitality chair Mrs Irving Dubow and co chair Mrs Jerry Friedman in charge. Refreshments and door prizes were provided. A barn dance and caller are planned for March 26 Fathers Night.
