Teacher Talks Resume Friday in Hillside Negotiations

The Hillside Board of Education and Hillside Education Association plan to resume talks this Friday after a three week break. Mediator Theodore Winard from PERC will oversee negotiations. Dispute centers on salary scale. teachers say they rejected the board proposal and never saw it released to the press. Board says proposed raises range 10 to 11 percent with an average $1,064 increase.

Budget Hearing Set For Tuesday
