School Board Boasts Success In Programs
Dr. Anthony Ayella told the Hillside Board of Education at Monday night’s meeting that planning has begun on several programs after attending an Administrative Institute at Utah State College. State funds from Title I II and III support services for underprivileged students library upgrades and committee review. The Modular Scheduled Program at Hillside High School was continued. Contracts awarded include a storage room addition for 4850 dollars to Schleifer Bros Inc. and milk bread and ice cream contracts. Transportation contracts for handicapped students were renewed with Suburban Bus Service and East Orange subsidiaries. Conrad A Cammarota was sworn in to fill the remaining term on the Board.
