Hillside Municipal Building add‑on behind schedule
Seventy five days into the 300 day project the Hillside Municipal Building addition shows signs of delay with steel delivery moved from July 1 to August 15. Project coordinator John Kulish said the vast majority of changes are external as crews wait for steel and renovate interior offices including Kulish’s own office. The work coincides with a county modernization plan at the Liberty Hillside intersection and a planned new magazine stack room for library circulation. Also noted were arson at A P Morris School and several assaults around town. Mayor Baldassano is asked to sing at a July 21 fundraiser with Vice President Mondale expected to attend.
