Fourth of July chaos as township party faces hiccups
Local officials hosted the township’s first Fourth of July event. Several children wandered from parents and found the mayor’s party, with Mayor Sidney Birnbaum’s daughter acting as a babysitter. An AC DC mismatch left the string quartet inadequately amplified before fireworks ended with a quip about the Father of our country resembling a mother-in-law.
