Local students and volunteers earn honors across New Jersey and Connecticut
Donna Garroccia achieves a 3.0 average at Montclair State College as a freshman. About 170 volunteers at the East Orange Veterans Administration Hospital will be honored July 14 for contributing 325,950 hours, receiving certificates and medals. Other recognitions include New York Medical College MD for Steven Rosner and Marine Private Charles D Davis Jr completing Camp Pendleton training. Hillside residents named to Union College Dean’s Honor List and Sigma Xi at Miami University honor society, plus University of Connecticut perfect "A" records featuring Ruth Berliner of Hillside.
