Budget Will Be Presented to Township Committee

Full production resumed Monday morning after Local 437 United Electrical Workers accepted a five cent wage increase from Stainless Engineering and Machine Works. John J. Pearce of Hillside mediated with company attorney Joseph Oberwager and the union committee Thursday night into Friday. The new offer, plus medical and $1000 hospital coverage, ended the strike and secured a return to work for Local 81 International Molders and Foundry Workers Union members later that day.
