Two Injured In Hwy 22 Mishap
A rear end collision on Route 22 in the westbound lane during rush hour left two people injured. Donald R Eldridge 39 of Short Hills collided with J R Haney 37 of Berkeley Heights as traffic slowed. Injured were Jane Eldridge 38 and Scott Eldridge 14, both bruised but refused medical attention.

Lehigh Valley Gate Jam Delays Railroad Traffic
Automatic gates on the Lehigh Valley Railroad jammed in a down position last Tuesday delaying service. Police alerted the railroad and crews were dispatched to repair the gates. The grade crossing will close when the Aldene Plan, set for April 30, takes effect and passenger trains on the New Jersey Central Railroad will run over Lehigh Valley tracks while the Central Ave Overpass opens.
