Mancuso Will Be Mayor For 1972

Woman Held For Murder In Hillside Shooting
Mary Mangum was arrested Saturday night after allegedly fatally shooting her brother in law Arthur Ray Desroe 38 in his Hillside home. Desroe died at St Elizabeth Hospital from a .22 caliber gunshot wound to the spine and chest. Mangum was charged with homicide and ordered held without bail pending grand jury action. Autopsy performed Sunday confirmed the two gunshot wounds. Desroe’s wife Lois and several unidentified people were in the house at the time. Desroe is described as a Ridgefield FD race and Company director and active in multiple New Jersey civic and church groups.
