Kennedy Library Fund Seeks Hillside Donations

Following the JFK death, a national memorial library is planned for Boston on the Charles River near Harvard Winthrop House. Two members of the Board of Education whose three year terms expire next February filed for reelection. Franklin A. Feltman and Walter Howell submitted petitions while a third member, Late Share, has not filed. Filing deadline is December 31 and election is February 9. Howell, Hillside resident and veteran community leader, is a retired Hillside school employee and current bank official. He has led local veterans groups and served on the New Jersey Boys State board.
