Hillside Nurse to Study Abroad on Rotary Scholarship
Miss Stephanie T Majeski daughter of Mr and Mrs Edward Majeski of 404 Harvard Ave will depart Saturday August 29 for a year of study abroad. She will sail from New York at 10 30 a m aboard the liner Stockholm bound for Gothenburg Sweden where she will study x ray technology psychiatric surgical and pediatric nursing at major hospitals in Gothenburg and Stockholm and visit hospitals in Norway and Denmark before returning to the United States in November 1954. She is a Hillside High School graduate class of 1949 and recipient of the Hillside Rotary Club nursing scholarship. She studied at Rutgers Newark toward a B S degree and recently worked five months as an industrial nurse for General Motors in Linden.
