Lewis-Chester Expands Further Its Real Estate Operations
The Lewis-Chester Organization announces continued expansion across its Investment, Management and Mortgage Departments. Arthur Ettkin joins the Investment Department, Bucky Harris becomes head of Mortgage, and Joseph Barry is promoted to head the Management Department. Ettkin, previously with General Development Corp and Beauty Industries, will oversee all real estate investment. Harris, longtime Newark educator and Insurance Coordinator at Kessler Institute, will lead mortgage financing and procurement. Barry, former Office Manager since 1962, moves to supervision of the Management Department. All are Newark-based with families and local ties in West Orange, South Orange, and Ford.

New Phone Book Due Next Week for Newark Area
New Jersey Bell announces the 1963 telephone directory covering Newark and nearby towns will be delivered starting August 14. The redesigned book contains over 174000 listings, introduces a pictorial New Jersey map, expands area code details for Direct Distance Dialing, and includes a central office table with ANC numbers. About 223000 copies will be distributed by 150 delivery workers over six days.
