Polio Case in Essex County Summer First Reported
Nine year old Jerome Shapiro son of Mr and Mrs Louis Shapiro of 1579 Leslie street is in good condition at Essex County Isolation Hospital with a non paralyptic type polio. He attends Hillside Avenue School and was stricken July 23 marking the township first polio case of the summer.
