Newborn Special Care Unit to Add 24 Advanced Isolettes
At Newark Beth Israel Medical Center 308 of 1,870 deliveries required the Newborn Sik Specialized Care Unit now under construction. Elizabeth L. Chubb, R.N., of Irvington, aided ailing newborns in the Pediatrics Department with modern isolettes while the new infant intensive care section will house 24 of the latest model units.

The Hillside Community Center Softball League had three rainouts last week. In two games Center defeated George Washington 5 4 but fell to Central Ave 2 0. Jack Amato homered for Center in the GW game. Gary Stokes stretched a single into four bases in the Central Ave game. Standings stay led by the Community Center.
