Huffman Paint Plans New Store Near Main Street
Huffman Paint and Wallpaper Co. began building a new brick veneer store warehouse at 762 N Main St. The 40 by 120 foot structure will total about 5000 square feet with glass front and transite panels. The retail space faces Main Street and a rear warehouse will serve operations. The firm formed in 1950 by W M Huffman is now owned with Clarence L Jones and aims to open by year end. Ample off street parking will be provided and catalog offerings include paint wallpaper and custom aluminum awnings storm doors and windows.
