Fortune Dwindled When Money Came in Estate Claim
Mrs. D. S. McCoy of Greenwood South Carolina received a $10,000 check said to settle her claim to a large estate once valued near 10 million dollars. She alleges John J. Neal, a Winston-Salem tobacco maker, married her before his death in Omaha Nebraska. The estate has been tied up in litigation for months and McCoy believes the check is an advance on her larger share. She resides behind a store with her son Tharry who came from Tulsa Oklahoma after hearing of the heiress claim.
