Rescued After Four Days From Tied Kidnapping Ordeal

Sheri Linda Jaffa, wife of a Jacksonville land developer, was bound and gagged for four days in a wooded area after a kidnapping by Jack McWilliams and accomplices dressed as police. McWilliams and Edith Burton were linked to the rescue, with Burton cooperating under questioning. Jaffa, 35, was hospitalized for exposure and injuries but in good spirits. her husband Richard stood by as authorities disclosed the abduction details and pursuit.
