C L Johnson well known farmer from near Trinity died yesterday afternoon at 4 oclock after a day of organic heart disease. Born June 14, 1853 in Guilford County he lived in the area all his life. Survived by son John W Johnson daughter Mrs Crissie Petree Winston Salem and sister Mrs F J Welborn. Funeral at Prospect M E Church this afternoon at 2 with burial in church cemetery.

About 30 Guilford County Dental Society members gathered at the Sheraton Greensboro High Point private dining room for the first fall dinner. Dr. H A Edwards of Greensboro presided while Dr. C S Grayson of High Point spoke on general medical topics and led a broad professional discussion. A wedding gift for Dr A W Craver, married two months, was presented by Greensboro dentists with Dr T E Sykes making the presentation.
