Heavy damages in two-car wreck at local intersection

An estimated 1900 dollars in damage resulted from a two car collision at E Fairfield and Baker Roads Monday at 435 PM. Russell Hill age 18 of Rt 4 Hi Point and Juanita Handley Smith of Sands Circle were involved with Smith charged with a stop sign violation. A passenger was taken to High Point Memorial Hospital. In a separate incident Troy Washington McGee 59 Wheeler Street was charged with a stop sign violation after a 920 AM collision at Commerce Avenue and Park Street. James W Alexander 23 Edison Ga was the other driver with damages of 200 and 350 dollars respectively.
