College football opens with Oklahoma rolling past Pitt

Oklahoma extended its winning streak to 41 games as the Sooners crushed Pitt 26-0 in the season debut. North Carolina State upset North Carolina 74 in ACC action while Texas A&M edged Maryland 21-13 in a late fourth quarter rally. Navy overwhelmed Boston College 46-36 and Washington State beat Nebraska 34-12 in an early slate of interregional showdowns.
