Ex-Council Member M. L. Patrick Dies at 58
Malcolm Lacy Patrick 58, former City Council member and civic leader, died Friday night at a Greensboro nursing home. He served council elections in 1951 1953 and 1955, resigning in 1956. He helped push traffic improvements, Green Street loop, and arterial street planning. He was active in the High Point Exchange Club State Board of Control and education work at High Point Senior High and Cloverdale School. Surviving: wife Ina four sisters and other relatives. Interment at Guilford Memorial Park follows at the Harold C. Davis Chapel service.
