Aycock Heir Seeks Name Change To Beloved Governor
Mrs Aycock guardian for her minor son filed with Wake County Superior Court to change the boy name to Charles Brantley Aycock after his father Governor Charles Brantley Aycock died August 12 1912 in Birmingham Alabama while delivering a speech on education. The family concurs in carrying on the governor name and there are seven other living Aycock children.
