The
Nakia and Sonny Comedy Revue Fall Flat in TV Weekend
AP television critic Jay Sharbutt reviews ABCs weekend lineup. Nakia, a Navajo deputy sheriff drama, is a wooden Indian tale with poor pacing. Sonny Bono’s solo debut and the Sonny Comedy Revue lackluster energy, despite Cosell Struthers skit bits and a Jackson Five number. Nakia elevates New Mexico scenery but falters in plot and execution.
