Uncertainty Over Federal Funds for High Point Schools
High Point Board of Education faced uncertainty as HEW reviews the district's compliance plan with the Civil Rights Act. Dr. Perry P. Little disclosed a letter from a group calling itself the education committee challenging the plan and threatening to cut federal funds until compliance is met.
