Kosygin Approves U S Trade Center Plans in Moscow
Occidental Petroleum chief Dr Armand Hammer said Premier Kosygin approved multiple deals to build a permanent U S trade center in Moscow with offices and a hotel. The talks covered fertilizer supply worth up to 150 million annually for 20 years and a large-scale gas purchase plan with equipment in exchange. Hammer cautioned negotiations may not conclude before he returns home. The center would host about 400 firms and include a hotel and offices.
