Old Deeds Filed To Clear Titles In Wyandot County
In Upper Sandusky Ohio two of the oldest deeds in Wyandot County's recorder office in half a century were filed. The 1824 patent grant to George Garrett signed by President James Monroe covered 80 acres and had never been recorded. Garrett sold the land to Benjamin Sweet a year later, with a new deed filed in Seneca County. The heirs of the A A Stalter estate brought the documents to clear title.
