The Springfield Baptist Church on Baker Road will dedicate its new sanctuary at 11 a.m. Sunday with Rev. R. N. Honeycutt of Salisbury delivering the dedication sermon and Rev. Music will be by the church choir. lunch on the grounds follows, and an open house runs from 2 to 5 p.m. The church began as a mission June 11, 1940s era. first structures and subsequent additions trace a long building history.
