Distributors Plan Court Challenge Over Moon Is Blue Ban
Baltimore distributors for The Moon Is Blue say they will seek relief in Baltimore City Court to release the Mary land film after the state board of motion picture censors deemed it indecent and immoral. United Artists appealed the initial ban, and attorney Franklin G. Allen said a new appeal follows a court ruling overturning several censor decisions. The latest order adds condemnations from Cardinal Spellman and national church groups.
