Raleigh August 31 The North Carolina State Fair plans the largest livestock display in state history running October 14 through 19. Beef cattle premiums total 2878.87 with J B Foster supervising beef and George Evans judging. Dairy cattle premiums reach 3620 with Arelty supervising dairy and R E Hunt judging. County herd show offers 200 prizes. 20 percent bonus from Holstein Friesian association boosts exhibits. Swine premiums total 3722 plus 472 for a barrow show sold after the fair.
