Army sets aside murder conviction of Special Forces Captain
The Army Court of Military Review overturned Capt. John J. McCarthy's 1967 murder conviction for the Cambodian Inchin Hai Lam's death in Vietnam. Pathologist testimony was revised, suggesting a different weapon and wound. The court indicated a new trial may be ordered, with one judge dissenting on that point.
