The couple, both of Jamestown, were joined by family and guests from Virginia Beach Baltimore Greensboro High Point Rocky Mount and other cities as flowered decor and orchestral music accompanied the vows. The bride is secretary at Jamestown High School and the groom is a shipping clerk at Highland Container Company Inc.

Freshman Nurses Host Hallowe'en Party at High Point Memorial
The High Point Memorial School of Nursing freshman class, led by president Miss Robbie Snider, held a Halloween gala to honor student nurses and guests. decorations by Misses Barbara Whitson and Lena Stout featured red yellow and bronze florals with black cats witches and a skeleton. Virginia reel dancing plus a fortune telling booth and a house of horrors entertained about forty attendees with cider and doughnuts as a success praised by nursing arts instructor Miss Ruth Williard.
