Vehicle recovered after years missing in Butte
A private garage owner sought police help to locate the owner of a car that had vanished in 1943 after leaving six months parking fees in advance. Police traced the vehicle to William Holdorf, state highway patrolman at Butte, who reported the machine had been stolen three and a half years earlier.
