Women Guild Shapes Hospital Grounds At High Point Memorial
The Women’s Guild of High Point Memorial Hospital plans a multi phase landscaping of the hospital grounds to accompany the 1972 addition. Project chair Mrs Carl Harris consults with director David Lopp as groups are invited to join for the bicentennial year. Fred Yoder will handle planting for the two groups. The guild has donated over three quarter million dollars to the hospital since its start, funding equipment and patient care improvements. A recipe note follows, offering a Yankee Kitchen Corn preparation.
