Drifting Sailor Survives 28 Days Afloat Off Pacific

Bruce Collins, former USC business student turned yachtsman, drifted 28 days in an orange life raft after the 42-foot Ketch Spirit sank west of San Francisco. He survived with malnutrition and sores, while companions Durel Miller and Nancy Perry perished at sea. Rescued by a Coast Guard plane, Collins plans to reunite with family as he reflects on his lifelong sailing goal.

Rich's Shareholders Approve Federated Merger in Atlanta

Charges Dropped in Southern Bell Political Fund Case
