Vending Machine Robbery and Related Thefts in High Point
High Point police investigated a vending machine theft at Martins Suprette on West Green Street with about $3 missing and no sign of forcible entry. A separate report noted theft of multiple keys from the Coca Cola bottling plant on South Main, affecting nearly all area vending machines. Also charged were Terry D. Letson with larceny of a auto, Richard Griffin with larceny of clothes, Terry L. Davis with assault on a female, and Charles B. Gillespie with resisting an officer.
