Magdalene Rebekah Lodge met Friday evening with Mrs. Mary Spencer reporting on the Fifth District meeting held in Greensboro on October 5. Katie Wagoner presided in the absence of the noble grand. The group announced profits from an Odd Fellow district supper would support lodge funds. Plans were made to entertain Fifth District deputy president Mrs. Virginia Parish on November 15. Candy and nuts were distributed, and hot tea and cookies followed the meeting.
