New Facade and Bridge Planned for Southern Furniture Exposition Building
Henry A. Foscue announced Saturday a new Main Street facade and a second floor bridge linking the Wrenn Wing to the South Wing at the Southern Furniture Exposition Building in downtown High Point. Designed by William Freeman Inc, the modernization features a 200-foot canopy, ceramic panels with bluestone and terra cotta trim, and vertical pilasters in a updated contemporary motif. The 19-foot-high bridge will be steel with aluminum sash trim and glass, improving traffic flow at market time.
