Paris Minister urges prewar styling to revive embroidery
Paris October 14 Dior, minister of commerce, urged Paris chamber of commerce to push designers back to prewar styles with elaborate embroidery lace and plume trimmings. Some coats show quilt inspired patterns and monkey fur motifs with bold color blocks and checkboard effects.
