John Hubbard Dies After Health Decline Near Oak Hill
John Hubbard aged 65 died yesterday afternoon at his home near Oak Hill from high blood pressure after a visit to a friend on the Thomasville road. Born April 22 1857 in Caswell County he farmed locally and was respected by many. Survived by widow two sons James and Jack Hubbard two daughters Mrs Sally Stanley and Mrs Lula Kennedy three brothers Jas Hubbard of High Point Rufus Hubbard of Reidsville and George Hubbard of Danville Va and two sisters Mrs J H McFarling and Mrs Bettie Dillard. Funeral at Prospect Church with Rev J H Moton officiating. Interment in church cemetery.
